Pottergate Senior Section

The Senior section was founded in 1994 and today is the most active part of the club. It has upwards of 120 members of which almost 50% are active in the club?s competitions. The section?s interests are managed by a committee of seven members who meet on a monthly basis and are elected each year at the Annual General Meeting.

Membership is open to members who are 55 years old although they cannot represent the club in league matches until they are 55. The joining fee is ?1.

The Seniors hold monthly qualifying medal matches between March and September and a medal in Stableford format in October. We end the year with a Turkey Trot in early December. Games are held on Wednesday mornings. We also run a series of Texas Scramble games and other club cup matches.

We are members of the South Lincolnshire Seniors? League and play against 5 teams home and away. These include Martin Moor, Sudbrook Moor, Gedney Hill, Coningsby and Kirton Holme. We also play in a Tri Club competition against Martin Moor and Oakmere Park.

In addition to these games the Seniors play 4  friendly games home and away against Boston West, Millfield, Southwell and Welton Manor.

As you can see from the above programmes we are a fully committed club and we welcome new members and you are always guaranteed a friendly reception.
